Cleveland Line
A view of the Cleveland Line at Alliance. This section of the Cleveland Line could use a little TLC. Still confused about the extra lights with the "C." I've read that those are "Check switch" indicators, but my NORAC rules state those mean "Clear to Next Interlocking."

Mike Brotzman General Those are "Clear to Next Interlocking". Both the Fort Wayne to CP-ROCHESTER and the Cleveland Line to Cleveland operate under Rule 562, which is cab signals without fixed wayside signals. If there is a CSS failure, the 'C' signals are displayed giving the train permission to the next interlocking. 6/13/2006 10:05:21 PM
