This is at the CF&E former PRR main to Chicago where the NKP "Cloverleaf" route used to cross. Diamonds removed in '98.

Maybe, there was been interchange like diamond but may due there was removed so now just once tracks there my guess and, nice shot!

Looks like the track is in the grass. As the way it is cut, it looks like there may be a rail in there

There was a signal in a position like this in Carl Junction MO for several years, where an ex Frisco line crossed the KCS. What's funny is, for a while after the Frisco was removed, the signal remained, and was lit. Go figure. You can almost hear the ghost of the Cloverleaf, a slow train starting up after getting the signal, clumping over the ex Pennsy...home page 05-23-2020
